Prof Marco Innocenti
Currently the Director of the Orthoplastic Department at the Rizzoli Institute in Bologna, Italy, and a Full Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Bologna. His clinical and research focus is on functional reconstruction of bone and soft tissue following trauma or oncologic resection. He has a particular interest in Vascularized Proximal Fibular Epiphyseal Transfer in growing patients, as well as the advanced application of perforator flaps and propeller flaps. Prof. Innocenti has authored 115 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and contributed 12 chapters to academic textbooks. He serves on the editorial board of six international scientific journals. He is currently the President Elect of the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (WSRM).
